01 — What we do
The work
Every job below is done at your address with tools and parts carried in the van. If a repair genuinely needs a lift, we say so on the phone before we drive out — no surprises, no "we'll have to take it in" halfway through.

Brakes
Pads, rotors & calipers
Pads and rotors replaced front or rear, calipers freed and greased, brake fluid topped and bled. We road-test the pedal feel on your own street before we pack up.

Diagnostics
Check-engine & electrical
Full OBD-II scan with live data, not just a code read. We trace the actual fault — misfires, sensor faults, parasitic draws, intermittent no-starts — and tell you what it costs to fix before touching a wrench.

Starting & charging
Batteries, alternators, starters
Battery tested under load and replaced on the spot, terminals cleaned, alternator output measured, starter circuits checked. Most no-start calls are finished inside an hour.

Maintenance
Oil, filters & tune-ups
Conventional, synthetic-blend or full synthetic oil with a new filter, plus a 30-point walkaround: belts, hoses, coolant, tyre pressures, wipers, lights. We leave the used oil with you or take it away for recycling.

Roadside
No-start & breakdown calls
Flat battery in a plaza lot, car that won't crank in the cold, warning light on the 410. Call with your location and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a roadside fix or a tow.

Pre-purchase
Used-car inspections
Buying used? We meet you at the seller's address, put the car on ramps, and go through rust, frame, fluids, brakes, suspension and stored codes. You get a written verdict before you hand over money.
02 — The process

Step one
Tell us the car and the symptom
Make, model, year, and what it's actually doing — noise, smell, light, whether it cranks. A photo of the dashboard or a 10-second video of the sound helps more than you'd think.

Step two
Get a price before we drive out
We quote labour and parts over the phone, in a range, based on what you describe. If the job turns out to be something else once we're there, we stop and re-quote before starting.

Step three
We come to you and finish it
Driveway, condo garage, office lot, plaza parking — as long as there's room to work safely and the property allows it. You get the old parts back and a note of what was done.
No shop drop-off, no shuttle, no "we'll call you when it's ready." Most jobs are booked same-day or next-day, and we work Saturdays and Sundays.

DNA Mobile Mechanic started the way most good trades do: one licensed technician, one van packed properly, and a growing list of Brampton families who got tired of leaving a car at a shop for two days to have a wheel bearing changed.
We work out of the Wanless and Mississauga Road area and cover all of Brampton — Mount Pleasant, Heart Lake, Springdale, Fletcher's Meadow, Bramalea, downtown — plus the Mississauga Road corridor and Malton. If you're just outside that, call anyway and we'll tell you straight whether the drive-out makes sense.
What you won't get: a waiting room, a service advisor on commission, or a list of "recommended" work you didn't ask about. What you will get: the same technician on the phone and under the hood, and a price that doesn't move once the job starts.
04 — When we're out

The phone is answered during these hours. If you get voicemail, leave the car, the symptom and your address — we call back the same day.

There's no booking form here and no email queue — a phone call gets you a real answer in minutes, which is what you want when a car won't start. Text works too if you'd rather send a photo of the dashboard.
